A. S. Jones & Co., Inc. was founded in 1972 by Al Jones, a Master electrician. Al opened his electrical contracting business relying on one key customer - Friendly's Ice Cream Corporation. At the time, Friendly's was on a rapid expansion plan of opening new stores throughout New England. They needed a dependable electrical contractor to wire up their flagship stores - A. S.
