Could not be happier with the service, I was able to get help within a few hours of the call and was charged a rate that was more than fair and substantially less than what others would charge. I call this morning with a little bit of electrical problems. David came to my house within an house after I got off the phone with his brother. And got straight to work on my problem. While Gainesville Service market is full of sharks and rips off, I found Mr. Alford to be very honest and man of integrity. While he could have easily rip me for hundreds of $ for something so trivial (which I later found out), he chose not to. I will prefer an honest man over any brand name Inc. for future electric work My two cents.

I just moved into a new house and needed several things replaced: light fixtures, shower heads, door knobs/locks, ceiling fans, and shelves. Stephen came on the exact day I asked and did not leave until everything I needed was complete. He left my home cleaner than when he arrived and he even took all the things I replaced with him so I didn't have to take them to the dump. 10/10 Would definitely recommend!

Just got an emergency's job done by this company and am extremely impressed! My closet fell who knows when, so I called yesterday and immediately got an answer. They came out today, assessed the issue, and purchased everything needed for the job. They even added an additional shelf in my closet. They reinforced everything on a stud unlike how it was originally installed and putties all the holes from the fallen shelf. 5 star job and I will be calling again for other jobs! Both guys were very friendly!

Stephen was a lifesaver for me. We had tried to do a home repair job on the bathroom and failed miserably, he walked us through what to do on the phone to fix a leak and then was available to come out the next day to fix the non urgent items. He's extremely knowledgeable and was easy to get a ahold of! We put out 5 quotes in the area and Stephen was the only one to get back to same day. Definitely my handyman of choice!

Second time calling the Alford's Affordable Services. Stephen was at my home in less than 30 minutes. He is very professional, knowledgeable, honest always willing to help in an emergency. He goes above and beyond to make sure to take care of his customers. He fixed my water heater, and other electrical problems around my house. It's great to have this company in our community! Quick yet efficient. Stephen was running late but the work he did made up for it. I thought I was going to have to replace my brand new faucet but he showed me where something was loose & how to fix it in case I ran into the issue again. More than reasonable pricing & great work. I will definitely be calling him for future handyman services.

Had an electrical emergency with my water heater timer and they came out in a jiffy and fixed it. Then a couple days later had to replace my water heater which they took care of too. These guys are great and very genuine. Definitely will be using their service again. They are very reasonable on pricing.

I had a great experience with handyman Stephen. He was extremely friendly, polite and showed up early. I had him replace the sink disposal and he even went to Lowes to pick up the part. He also fixed a lamp that I had failed to fix and some other people said couldn't be fixed. On his way out, my neighbor had locked himself out of the house and Steve went over and helped him out. He is just a nice person like that. You should absolutely use this handyman =

Stephen helped fix my broken kitchen faucet handle. He came out the same day and helped me identify which parts needed to be replaced, and then came back and fixed it again! Prompt, friendly, affordable, and competent service! Also, very responsive to any questions you might have about the repair. As a first-time homeowner, its great to find someone to help with repairs who is trustworthy and affordable.

Stephen is a great tradesman. This is the second time I've hired him. The first time he installed an electrical plug for my kiln. This time I had him replace a faucet in my bathroom.
