B K Electric

I've used BK Electric for years and on many of my personal homes and flips, as well as my real estate clients. I keep going back because I can depend on their quality, communication, availability, standing behind their work, ability to handle both large and small jobs, and range of services they provide. I've worked with BK on more than 10 of my homes.

I already selected all the work services performed in this review to see what they've done, so I'll just add that there is basically nothing they haven't done minus a fixture repair because I replace them Vs repairing them. And, I've even had them do major chandelier installs at super tall locations!

BK wired my basement as part of it being finished. They also wired a pool house and a separate garage (new construction) for me. I've had them do some odds and ends around the house too. They are my go to electricians!

BK is our go-to company for electric. They're knowledgeable, easy to work with, and all around just good guys. I highly recommended them.

Very Experienced, polite honest, top skilled electrician. Fixed my Wiring, electric inside and out side including landscaping lights. Also installed very Large TV monitor, etc. Highly recommendable

AWFUL! I had to do a delivery here to Bruce Pettigrew. I needed his signature he rudely explained to me why I do not need his signature and telling me I'm doing my job incorrectly? I just need Your signature so I can drop your crap off get paid and go home. He was rude on the phone he was rude in person honestly after this experience I will never ever ever ever go to BK electric for any of my electrical needs the owner is a horrible rude man

I have used BK Electric on multiple projects over the past couple of years. They do high quality work and are very responsive.

This is one of those company's that prides it's self in doing things as quick and cheep as possible if that's what your looking for this is the electrician for you

New construction - contractor sent BK electric to do the electric set up. Constantly dealing with fuse tripping which has caused a couple of our electronics to burn out. They are blaming the items that are plugged in, not their work and are refusing to fix, troubleshoot or replace any of our damaged items. The items that got ruined worked fine in our old home but all of a sudden were "faulty" when they got damaged after the fuse tripped.

The fuse tripping was an issue before we even moved into the house - so obviously a problem exists in the actual wiring. Contractor slow to respond and the issue was sporadic so we moved in and the problem got worse. Hard to believe these people are licensed. When I mentioned problem to a friend of mine who is master electrician he told us the fix is as a simple as replacing a $50 fuse box.

We suggested that to BK Electric and they refused to consider. We ended up hiring our friend who installed the new fuse box and have not had any issues since then. Amateur we had to enlighten them on something that was not up to code and after a lot of battling back and forth, they failed inspection and had to re-do the job. Nasty and condescending, refused to speak to us after the county stepped in - how's that for customer service? Do yourself a favor and find someone else.
