Ellsworth Electric traces its roots to 1927-long before electricity was a household word. The company began as the Miller-Liskey Electric Company, Inc. and provided electrical contractor services for large commercial construction projects in Hagerstown. In the 1960's the company added a service division and insulation services.
Ellsworth Electric provides a complete range of electrical contracting and insulation services throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. With over 100 personnel (including master electricians and field technicians), a fleet of over 75 vehicles, and a well-stocked 15,000-square-foot materials warehouse, we are capable of handling any job - regardless of how large or small.

Critical: Responsiveness, Value Made an appointment to install a thermostat between 1 & 5 p m. Never showed, never called & yet I called them to make another appointment. 2nd appointment (1-5 pm) I waited & waited. At 7:00 pm the guy calls to see if we still want service. Hopefully, he'll work better than their useless schedulers. Service: Electrical outlet & switch installation

I am not a customer but an employee of theirs in one of their vans flipped me the middle finger after I went to pass him on the interstate once he finally turned into the right lane. I was not tail gating him, the closest I got to him was about a car length and a half behind him when he slowed down to go 65 in the left lane when the speed limit is 70. Would not recommend anyone who hires people that show this kind of behavior.

John and Teresa Barr have been wonderful philathropists to the communtiy and have served on many non-profit leadership roles.
