The Lumen at Playhouse Square is a residential high-rise luxury apartment complex situated in the heart of downtown Cleveland's Theatre District. The new 34-story tower consists of over 600,000 square feet and houses 318 apartment suites. Lake Erie Electric's Akron and Cleveland Offices joined forces to provide the electrical infrastructure for the new Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center Hospital in Fairlawn. The Carvana Vehicle Inspection facility in Trenton, OH was a fast-paced, greenfield construction project.

Lake Erie Electric was founded in 1952 by Frank J. Nichols and based in Lorain, Ohio. John S. Corogin joined him shortly thereafter and together they formed the ownership and management team through the early years. In 1958, William M. Leblang was hired to open and manage an office in Cleveland, Ohio and became the third partner of the Company.

Our work is primarily in Ohio and Michigan but we will, based on customer needs, perform work throughout the Continental United States. We have performed work in various states bordering Ohio and Michigan and states as far as Wyoming, Alabama, Texas, and Virginia. Our electricians and field supervision are IBEW employees that come from the jurisdictions where we work.

Our firm is currently a subcontractor for Lake Erie Electric at the RTA substation on Fairhill road in Cleveland. Dave Miller the foreman for the project is polite, professional and generally a nice guy. Its been a pleasure to work with them.
