Merit Electric Company is a full service electrical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial electrical installations. Merit Electric Company, Inc. was founded in 1972 by R.C. Wooten, Jr. The company merged with an existing company, Flournoy Electric Company (established in 1950), to create the Merit Electric we know today.
We are well known as an accomplished Commercial Electrical Contractor that specializes in new and remodel retail construction. Our service team provides expert repairs and installations for a variety of retail customers. We maintain a fleet of fully stocked service vehicles equipped to handle a multitude of electrical service needs.
We've compiled a list of organizations that we feel can provide benefit for our existing and potential clients. Merit Electric is a proud member of IEC Independent Electrical Contractors and has been actively involved in the local IEC Florida West Coast Chapter since its inception. Saw a Merit Electric van traveling south on US 19 through Pasco on Saturday 6/20 weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating and passing abruptly on the right. Truck T50 is lucky he didn't cause a wreck the way he was driving. Hope their electrical work is safer than their driving. I can't say I'd ever call their company based on this advertisement.
