The entire team at RALCO saved the day by repairing our generator that was no longer supported by and could not be fixed by my previous service company. From Stacey to Jonathan to Josh all were extremely responsive, professional, timely, skilled and diligent. Jonathan even arranged to have the needed part picked up by an employee and fI own out to me.

I was so happy I immediately switched my service to them. They are one of my best ever service experiences along with excellent communication. I highly recommend them. David Wroe

Had the oil filter for Cummins generator but not the fuel filter. Have two buildings the newer is now the place to go its down the road a piece. Not ideally setup for walkin purchasing but was ok.

Excellent price and service. John was quick with a great quote and flexible on an installation date. The install team arrived on time and worked until the job was done. Cummins whole house generator installation. Joshua Benoit came out promptly to evaluate the site, was very knowledgeable and offered good suggestions for the install. Generator was on site within a week when other contractors consulted could only offer a four month minimum lead time for installation! Outstanding! Service: Installation

We recently contacted Ralco about replacing our 15+ year old, 12KW Kohler generator. It had seen better days and was burning oil at a rapid pace. Here in Little Compton we are prone to power outages, sometimes for no apparent reason, so whole house generators are common. Josh Benoit responded promptly, came to meet with us and reviewed a number of options to consider.

We were most interested in options that allowed us to keep parts of the system(i.e. transfer switch and wiring between the generator and the transfer switch); and, rewiring to add components to the generator. Josh worked with us to craft a proposal that reflected our wishes. We decided on a new, better featured 14KW Kohler generator that could tie into our existing transfer switch and allow us to keep the existing wiring between the two.

On top of that, we included switching out some circuits at the transfer switch to add the lighting, outlets, etc. that were important for us to have on the generator. Within a month of executing our Agreement with Ralco, we had the new generator in place, and operational! Kudos to Josh and his 5-man installation team! All were very easy to work with. They hit the ground running early on installation day, and had us on-line by shortly after noon time.

I recently purchased a 20KW Kohler whole house generator from RALCO and had them do the installation. They have the most friendly and courteous staff I have ever dealt with. From the young lady who answered the phone on my initial contact to the final startup technician, they were all exceptionally helpful. My first face to face contact was with salesman Josh Benoit.

He was knowledgeable and went through the installation process and cost involved. He explained they would take care of everything including permits, inspections, unit set up, electrician, gas line, and final startup. Nothing was needed from me. I am a very skeptical person and the thought of handing him a $6000 check down payment was unnerving to say the least.

I told him I would think about it. By the time he got back to RALCO he face timed me and gave a tour of the warehouse and showed me the generators in stock. At that point he sold me and I signed a contract and felt good about it. Without Josh taking the extra effort I would have passed. There was never any pressure put on me. Communication was excellent and I knew what day and time workers were coming.

Woke this morning with no power and generator not working. Called Ralco first thing and spoke with Laurel and Stacy. They calmed me down and arranged for a service sometime today. A technician arrived within 3 hours and we were back up and working in no time. Our tech Arthur was wonderful. I will definitely use Ralco again

We used RALCO to install a Kohler household standby generator this winter and were very pleased with the entire experience. From the original quoting, which was thorough, detailed and timely, to the actual work being done, every person we spoke to or came by to work on the job was friendly and professional. RALCO had excellent communication throughout the entire process, showed up when they said they would, and did a great, clean job on the install. They provided a really good value and much more responsive than a couple of their competitors in even getting quotes. I would definitely use again.

We contracted with Ralco to install a new whole house generator. They were highly professional and communicative from start to finish. From Matt in sales to Josh and Jason in project management to John arranging final startup, I always received a response as soon as I needed it. The landscapers, electricians and heating guys all did very neat and clean work.

They arranged permits and inspections.basically all parts of the project were handled seamlessly. When we needed an expedited startup due to an oncoming storm, they made it happen. Would highly recommend!

This is an update to my rather long review of Ralco. I would like to say the Ralco's Owner Rene Lachapelle, did keep in contact with us & they compensated us for our time & frustration. He assured us that he is changing policies so that nothing like this ever happens again & hopefully problems get addressed and sent to the proper person in a quicker manner.

Part of the problem was that he was unaware of the situation we were having to deal with. He was more than fair in the end and did what a reputable business owner would do.try and make things right. We appreciate his tenacity and willingness to follow this through to the end. We look forward to continuing to do business with them and refer people to them.

We had our Generac 11kw generator installed by Ralco, because they were close to our home & have been in business for 30 years. Matt Garcia came out to go over options for generator. We were very happy with options & him. We had gotten 4 quotes & quote they gave us was more than fair. He told us where generator was going to be located. They installed the Generac 16" from the house, under a window, not where it was originally going to be. Generac specs clearly state it has to be 5 ft from window.

City electrical inspector came out & failed it immediately. Ralco's explanation for this was that different cities have different codes. Generac has 1 code to follow. Also, since being in business for 30 years, they might realize they need to know the codes of the city, where they are installing generator. I was told that the city inspector was being difficult. No, he was doing his job.

Don't put your incompetence on the inspector. They had dug up a flower bed to install in the wrong area, now it had to be moved. Plumbing had already been out to hook up pipes. When Ralco came back out, we were asked where we wanted generator to be put. I immediately called the company, asking them, why we were being asked where we wanted it installed.

Don't they have certified installers, that have installed generacs before? I spoke with Matt again, told him how upset we were at the gross negligence in installation & what were they going to do to compensate us for taking another day off from work, Flower bed being torn up? He said he would get back to me with "something to make us happy". He never called us back, a week later.

We called to speak with owner, who was away. We left voicemail for him. The owner of the company Rene LaChapelle called on a wednesday night from Mexico. He was concerned and also upset over everything that had happened. When he got back, he would review everything and get back to us. He told us not to worry, he would make it right. Customer service & satisfaction were important to him.

He has owned business for over 30 years. That was 7 business days ago. We have not heard anything from the company or more importantly the owner, Rene. I was told by a friend this happened to a neighbor of his. Ralco installed that generator also in wrong spot and it had to be moved. We regret not going with Barro's in Foxboro, MA. They have a great reputation & presentation of generac product.

We also had a price quote by the time the gentleman left. We are disgusted with the gross negligence, lack of communication and installation of the generator. We are even more disgusted with the owner of the company. He wasted my time on the phone telling me he would make everything right. He has not even called. Also 1 of the other reviewers, that gave it 5 stars is the one of the managers.
