Tom and his staff are always professional, friendly, efficient and can be relied upon. Have relied on their services many times and always have been pleased.

We we moved into our house, one of the first things we knew was that we'd replace the hideous, bedazzled chandelier they chose for the dining area. We bought a chandelier from Horton's and they gave us a sheet of recommended installers. Finding the right person to replace our chandelier felt a bit like Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I looked up the three closest installers on Yelp and Angie's List. Rocks was my first call based on the high marks on both sites; unfortunately, they weren't taking jobs for several weeks.

One of the other two got average marks with a lot of comments about their high prices. When I spoke to them, they wouldn't even entertain an estimate without sending someone out to look at the space. The last guy had no online presence at all, which gave me pause, and gave me a really low price without asking any questions. We started to think we might do the job ourselves. Fortunately, it took longer than expected for the chandelier to arrive and in the meantime Tom from Rocks reached out.

He asked me about what we wanted to do, our ceiling height and for some pictures of the space and the fixture, so he could give me an estimate. He also gave us some really good advice. We considered swagging the light since the junction box was off center from our table; we're glad he dissuaded us from going this route. Moving the box was a little more, but it looks so much better this way.

When Tom arrived for the job he was so friendly and didn't mind my cats checking out his every move. He worked efficiently and checked in to make sure I was happy with his work. All of the packaging was boxed up nicely, which made it easy for me to toss when he left and the house. Finding professionals to do work on your home can feel like a huge leap of faith and having had one major disappointment, we're thrilled that this job was quick, easy and reasonably priced.

I just used Tom Rocks of Rocks Electric. He was fabulous! All of the outlets in our office (the room with our modem, router - aka "important stuff") suddenly died, and we couldn't figure out the cause.
