Travers Electric Inc, founded in 1970 by Henry and Jean Travers, is a full service electrical contracting company with in-house designing capability. Our focus is on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. We specialize in design build projects. Most of these projects are institutional jobs such as schools, hospitals, courthouses, office buildings, warehouses, apartment complexes, and nursing homes.Projects range in size from 10,000 to 140,000 square feet. We have certified thermal imaging technicians, the latest technology in preventive maintenance.

Since 1970, our work has taken us through most of the Central Maine area including Lewiston, Poland, Rockland, Farmington, Augusta, Waterville, Bangor, Orono, and up to Jackman. We have completed a variety of jobs from residential to commercial including completely designing and installing the latest facility for Guilford Industries' 100,000 sq.
