I called to get a quote for a commercial job, they had a guy come out and take a look at the job, and after sending them the electrical plans for them to see if they could finish the job another electrician had started I never heard back. I called twice and emailed them and no response. I think it's unprofessional. The least they could have done was call and tell me it's something they couldn't do and I wouldn't have continued to waste my time.

Tutor Electric installed a disconnect on a new hot water tank. The technician was on time friendly and professional. The job was complete within an hour. Then our technician and his assistant cleaned up all the scraps and leftover bits and pieces. When the invoice arrived it confirmed that our bill was HALF our other estimates. I am very pleased with Tutor. They are now my go to electrician! Thank you for the quality work.

I contacted Tudor and three other electricians for a quote on install of my Tesla Wall Charger. Their price was in the middle of my quotes but decided to go with them because Tony took the time to come to my house and look at the project and discuss some other things that could be done. The day the crew came out to do the install it was discovered that the circuit breaker Tony and I had chosen wasn't actual the highest the wall charger could handle.

I spoke to Tony and was apologetic but told him I really wanted to go with the highest possible amperage possible. Tony was very nice and professional with the last minute change which involved having to go to a supply house to get a lager Guage wire. Install was completed the next day and everything works great. Can't say enough good things about this company and Tony.

My heat went out from snowpocalypse, their tech was able to come out on a day they were closed to replace some breakers that were oddly damaged from the storm and or blackouts.

We were very pleased with Tutor. They were prompt, very professional, and were very careful. They cleaned up after they completed task. The two employees that came to home, Dustin and Joe were very nice and very personable. Brandy and Dawn, ( office employees) were also very professional and pleasant.

I knocked the main power line down at my shop. These guys were there within 30 minutes. The Repair was very reasonable. Very professional all the way through. Moreover, they helped deal with Oncor over a month later. Really hard to find this type of caring and professionalism folks these days.

Tutor was the only electrical service to actually give me an estimate. The others said that they would but didn't nor did they return my phone calls. Tony came out, talked to me about what I wanted, sent me the estimate, then they came out and did the work just as he said that they would. I definitely recommend them.

Technician was on time (30 minutes early actually) and very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it, and even took the time to make sure other issues were resolved as well. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the billing. The first 30 minutes is a flat rate of $95 for the service call, which is pretty much standard.

But even though the work only took 30 minutes, he was on site a little longer and so I was charged for an additional half hour (at an hourly rate of $95). With trade skills like these you definitely get what you pay for, so even though it felt a little pricey for a quick house call, I'd recommend them because the job was done well and quickly.

Outstanding! Responsive an prompt with quotes and explanation of work to be completed. The technicians I met on site were just a prompt, extremely courteous and went out of their way to explain what was going to be done making it easy for me to translate back to my Sellers/Clients. Invoice was detailed and clear, just what meticulous Home Sellers and Buyers are looking for! Thank you again Michael, Jason and Justin

Tutor installed several light fixtures and disengaged an electrical outlet. I thought their pricing was reasonable. Their work product was excellent and their customer service was exceptional. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again.

I was recommended to Tutor Electric by a friend, as I was looking to install a tankless water heater. The job required three new wires from the water heater to the breaker box. I called and talked to J.J. and he was polite and knowledgeable and quoted me a price of around $500. He even came by to check on the service main to ensure my amperage was sufficient.

When Randy and Mike came by to install the wiring, they were pleasant and friendly and did the job in about 4 1/2 hours, since they had to run back to the shop a few times to get parts. Up until this point, I was completely satisfied with Tutor Electric. Then I got the bill. $830 all told, a 65% increase over the estimate. I also paid the full cost of labor for all 4 1/2 hours ($125 for both electricians - not sure why the job really needed two, but that's why I hired someone to do it) - even for the times they had to run back to the shop, which probably was at least close to an hour of time.

I really did like these guys, and I would've accepted a 10% or even 20% increase over the estimate (J.J. did say "about $500"). But 65%? With no changes? Come on. that's a breach of trust. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Tutor Electric unless you don't care about the price. Had I known it would cost nearly twice as much as the heater itself, I would've just installed it myself. My advice would be (for anyone looking for an electrician): get a fixed contract in writing. Lesson learned.
