When the outlets in my home spontaneously shorted out, I tried calling a number of electricians to come out and fix the problem. Although extremely busy, United sent out an electrician within a couple of days. He was friendly, on time, and was able to quickly diagnose the issue while offering a reasonable price. Excellent service and would highly recommend. I will definitely be using United electric for any future issues.

I had power in one of my rooms go out last night and couldn't find anyone to fix it night of. I called this business at 10AM and they said they would have someone out by 1-3PM to fix the issue. 3PM rolls around and they call and say they will be delayed by 2 hours. 5pm rolls around, and nothing. I call up there around 5:30, and Alex says he will check on status for me and call me back ASAP. 40 minutes go by and I call back only to get met with voicemail.

I never heard back. They sounded very professional on the phone, but they certainly did not live up to that expectation. I called a couple other businesses who said they couldn't come out tonight, but they did their best to troubleshoot the issue for me and eventually told me that it was a loose connection and they would have someone out here first thing in the AM. I will never use this business moving forward.

Technician (Saul) gets points for promptness and ability to tighten a screw. Other than that. Told us that we'd burned out a socket in a 15 A branch circuit running a 7.2 A a/c. Suggested we install a dedicated 20 A branch circuit for it (with the attendant fee). If he'd checked out our circuit breaker panel (and he did because he let us know we have a Zinsco that needs to be replaced; we are grateful for that) he'd have seen that the a/c is ON a 20 A branch circuit.

Beyond that, our technician was just unable to answer some really basic electrical questions that I was able to figure out after reading a few pages in my home-repair manuals. My lawyer brother always says to clients in an interview: never leave the office until you have had your case thoroughly explained. If they say "leave it to me, I'm an expert, " run away.

There is no subject so complex it can't be explained to the layman. This tech wasn't able to explain hardly ANYTHING to me. When a dentist recommends drilling teeth that don't have cavities, and can't answer you intelligibly when you ask him what gauge anesthetic needle he uses, time to run away.

I had an issue with my center cooling properly. Lance came out to our location and was very honest and thorough in diagnosing our issue. He knew we are a non profit so he did his best to fix our issue quickly, even though replacing our system is inevitable. He offered short term solutions to make our location comfortable in the interim. My impression of him was that he was very knowledgeable, experienced and was not selling me things we don't need. I appreciated his professionalism and honesty. I would highly recommend calling United and asking for Lance, especially if you think you need a new system.

Our heater went down and Lance was there to help us out. He was quick and efficient and was able to get it up and running again. Thank you so much for helping the kids and I out! We definitely won't freeze this winter!

I had the best service quick kind and friendly. They sent out a technician same day Lance was able to diagnose and fix my ac that day. It was a hot day and my grandfather needs to have the temp at 75 all day for medical reasons waking up my home was so hot within 2 hours I had a knowledgeable tech in my home fixing the problem. I have used Lance Rheinhart and United heating and air for several of my clients, as well as our church. Lance and his team of trades people know their trade very well, and their communication is also five star! They are especially skilled at troubleshooting problems and coming up with the right solution. Lance even walked me through a complex fix one evening, over the phone! Jeremiah was great! Figured out the problem with our heater within the first 10 minutes. Turns out the emergency cut off switch had been accidentally been triggered. Very polite and helpful.

I had a terrible experience! My husband called this place via google search. We had an emergency because our outlet was smoking. Two men showed up and within 5 minutes said we needed a new panel and circuit breakers and rewire.$4000. So we asked them if they could just cap off the outlet so it was unusable for now because we did not have $4000 to spend (plus we wanted a second opinion).

They said they could not cut off the outlet and anyway it would not fix the problem. Our discussion turned into a heated one because it seemed as though they did not want to leave without us paying that $4000. One of the men even threatened us by saying " If I don't fix this today, your outlet may catch on fire while you are sleeping". um, we will take our chances! Needless to say we got a second opinion and ended up paying $145 to fix our outlet and infact did not need a new panel. We saved our $4000 from these con-artists.

Ryan is friendly young man who was very helpful to us in assessing our electrical issues. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

We called United when our very old fluorescent kitchen lights stopped working, and they did a fantastic job replacing them with new LED can lights.

Wally was very friendly, humorous, and professional. He gave us an estimate on both repairing and replacing the lights, and since he also does home inspection, walked though our house to point out a few extra things that were not up to code (like lack of smoke detectors in certain areas, checking the breakers, etc...) With our consent, Wally installed a smoke detector, changed the breakers, and replaced most of our incandescent light bulbs with natural-sunlight colored, energy efficient LED bulbs.

While some people might not want that extra inspection, I really appreciated this update to our home!

Sal and Genero also did a great job on taking out the old flourescent lights and installing the new LED cans, and Chuy did a very fast and beautiful job on the plaster/ drywall and painting. I'm planning to call Wally and United if we ever need electrical work done, or if we ever buy a new house and need it inspected. Thanks United!

This company did excellent electrical work for me. When my husband and I decided to remodel our home last year, I called these guys to re-do all the electrical wiring for us. Customer service was great from the start, and they gave me a really great rate. It was lower than other places I called.
