What is the Rural Electric Youth Tour? In a word, it is truly the trip of a lifetime! Each summer during the month of June, Petit Jean Electric Cooperative joins all the Arkansas cooperatives, not to mention cooperatives from 37 other states, in sending approximately 1,400 high school juniors on an expense-paid trip to the nation's capitol, Washington D.C.

Keep your thermostat set at 78 degrees or higher during the cooling season. Use of fans can make these higher temperature settings feel more comfortable. Keep the thermostat at 72 degrees or lower during the heating season. A one-degree change in the thermostat setting can cost you an additional 3% in energy costs.
