Parke County REMC is a nonprofit and member-owned electric cooperative. Incorporated in 1937 by a group of rural citizens, it exists today to distribute quality service and electricity to the members in portions of six counties: Parke, Putnam, Clay, Vigo, Montgomery and Fountain. Parke County Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC), is located on the south side of the square in Rockville, Indiana.

Use our interactive phone service to pay your bill by credit or debit card or electronic check 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To pay by credit or debit card, you must have your REMC account number and credit or debit card information. To pay by electronic check, we must first set up a profile that contains your checking information, you will also need your REMC account number.
Billing Options

Prepaid members do not have to pay a deposit to start a new electric account. This is a pay-as-you-go plan, so there are no monthly bills. If you are an existing member and wish to convert to a prepaid account, any deposit previously paid will be applied to any outstanding balance and the purchase of future energy use.

Listed below is an explanation of how different billing options are calculated, when bills are processed and the fees associated with different billing programs. This Billing Info includes details of residential, seasonal or general service which is billed on a monthly basis. To better understand the electric bill charges, we have included below a breakdown of electricity usage, consumer charge, power cost adjustment, and state tax. The power cost adjustment, which is established on a quarterly basis, is dependent upon Wabash Valley Power Association.
