Ways to Pay Your Bill
Report
There is an on-line bill pay website that appears to be affiliated with Flint Energies, but it is not. Doxo.com is a third-party website that allows people to pay their electric bills via their website. What you don't know is that doxo.com may charge you extra fees to make those payments. We caution you further.
Ways to Receive Your Bill
Report
If you choose to receive your bill by mail, it will come with a pre-addressed envelope in which you can place your bill stub and payment. When you apply postage and deposit your bill with the U.S. Postal Service it is forwarded to our lock-box payment processing service in Atlanta. We suggest mailing your payment at least seven business days before your due date to ensure your payment arrives and is posted to your account on time. You may also choose to have your monthly statement delivered by email, or you may view your bill online.
How to Read Your Bill
Report
This is a monthly charge based on the cost of maintaining the service lines and meter at the customer's building and other operational expenses for the cooperative, such as reading meters, accounting, and other business functions for the operation of the cooperative. This is the measurement of the amount of electricity supplied during the billing cycle and it is expressed as kilowatt-hours or kWh. Ten 100 watt light bulbs burning for one hour will consume 1,000 watt hours (10 x 100) or 1 kilowatt hour.
Why is My Bill So High
Report
Flint Energies representatives are always happy to assist you with your billing questions, but you may consider gathering this information prior to calling.
