My 1st experience with Colorado Electric came about with the installation of a full hybrid heat pump system. Matthew handled all of the electrical upgrades and necessary modifications to accommodate the new system. He was extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable. I also appreciated his patience in answering all my questions. Based on my experience today, I would absolutely recommend Matthew and Colorado Electric.

Colorado Electric Corp was the subcontractor for my heat pump installation. They were professional, did excellent work quickly, left me a spare breaker to replace one they pointed out was off-brand in my panel, and managed to add two circuits while taking up less space in my panel at the end of the installation. Could not be more happy.

Colorado Electric Corp went above and beyond when installing my new heat pumps. During the process, they discovered one of my GFI outlets had failed and was meltingsomething that could have quickly turned into a fire hazard. Dan and Matthew came over after hours, diagnosed the issue right away, and fixed it on the spot. They also took the time to clearly explain what was happening and why keeping my electrical system maintained is so important.

I've worked with many electricians over the years, and it is such a relief to know that I'll never have to work with anyone else other than Dan and his team. These guys have done a number of projects for me at two different houses. They are eminently professional and their work is always exceptional. Dan and Kenny have done such a nice job installing our two Quiet Cool whole house fans. In addition they also installed two Quiet Cool attic gable fans. They were able to connect all four fans to the existing circuit already available in the attic. Their electrical work is top notch. Its reassuring to have a licensed and insured electrician/ contractor come out to our house to complete our project. I have rated Colorado Electrical Corp. five stars because they provide professional installation and service. After months of troubleshooting an electrical issue with my HVAC thermostat, CEC saved the day. I was referred to Dan's company via my trustworthy HVAC contractor who promised that CEC would run new wire to the furnace for a reasonable price. After describing the issue to Dan (owner of CEC), he sent Mathew to assess the situation. Dan explained that Mathew's HVAC background makes him perfect for my situation. My wife was the only one home and was concerned about being able to communicate the exact issue and communicate between Mathew and me. Fortunately, he took the time to take pictures of everything to explain his diagnosis and fix. Mathew also showed my wife the cause and fix so she would understand.
A few hours later, my furnace stopped heating, which was concerning on an evening with sub-5-degree temperatures. I called Dan who immediately got in a truck and made his way to our house.
To my surprise, Dan picked up Mathew on the way over within an hour. Both spent the evening troubleshooting the wire connectivity and making the necessary repairs, mindful of minimizing any drywall repair (none is needed). They were adamant about cleaning the very little mess made during the repairs. When it was all done, I was not charged anything extra!
